DiamondSkin Systems is committed to protecting the privacy of its Customers ("Customers"). We have created the following Privacy Statement to give you an overview of the type of information we collect, how the information is used and how the information is safeguarded.

Information is collected from Customers by DiamondSkin Systems through the use of the DiamondSkin site. This Privacy Statement applies only to information collected by DiamondSkin Systems. By visiting DiamondSkin Systems, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy and Security Notice.

DiamondSkin Systems is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. This Privacy Statement discloses the privacy practices for www.diamondskin.com. If you have questions or concerns regarding this statement, you should first contact DiamondSkin Systems by E-mail at support@diamondskin.com. If you do not receive acknowledgment of your inquiry or your inquiry has not been satisfactorily addressed, you should then contact TRUSTe http://truste.org/consumers/watchdog_complaint.php. TRUSTe will then serve as a liaison with the Web site to resolve your concerns.

DiamondSkin complies with the EU Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union.

B. WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?

In order to provide you with information regarding products of interest to you and to continually improve your shopping experience with diamondskin.com, we collect information about our Customers in a variety of ways. In some cases, DiamondSkin Systems asks Customers directly for information in order for them to receive information about our products or services, and, in other cases, information is collected automatically as Customers are using our Web Site. You may choose not to provide certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of the features we offer. The following is a summary of the kinds of information DiamondSkin Systems collects:

1. Active Collection.

DiamondSkin Systems is the sole owner of information collected on diamondskin.com. DiamondSkin Systems collects certain information either voluntarily or as required in order to register with DiamondSkin Systems or use certain DiamondSkin System Services. This type of information includes:

a. Contact Us form. Personally identifiable information is collected including contact information, such as name, mailing address, e-mail address and phone number.

b. Demographic information such as zip code.

c. Information provided in e-mail requests and communications.

Currently, we only take ordering information via the phone – there is no online collection of ordering

2. Automatic Collection.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.

We use session ID cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser. This allows us to understand better which pages on our site are more popular than others.

e. For billing purposes, to facilitate transactions and to fill Customer orders in connection with purchases of products offered by DiamondSkin Systems.

f. For the specific purpose for which the information was provided.

D. HOW DOES DIAMONDSKIN SYSTEMS COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS?

DiamondSkin Systems would like to communicate with its Customers when we have new products or services we feel are of special interest to you. Unless you opt-out of communications from DiamondSkin Systems, you will receive the following types of communications:

a. Special Offers and Updates. We will send DiamondSkin Systems Customers a welcome e-mail to verify your participation in the DiamondSkin Systems’ products and services we offer. Established Customers will occasionally receive information on products, services and special deals or coupons. Out of respect for the privacy of our Customers, we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Choice/Opt-out section.

b. Customer Service. We communicate with Customers on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account, we reply via e-mail or phone, in accordance with the Customer's wishes. Service emails are not promotional in nature; therefore, generally there is no option to opt-out of receiving these communications.

E. WHAT INFORMATION IS SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES?

Information about our customers is an important part of our business. DiamondSkin Systems does not sell, rent, or disclose any personally identifiable information to third-parties in ways other than described here:

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

F. SECURITY

The following outlines different types of security procedures DiamondSkin Systems has in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of the information collected online and offline.

1. Authorization and Access Control

Only authorized personnel have access to restricted data. Access to sensitive data such as customer financial information and individually identifiable health information is revoked in a timely manner for employees who change function or resign.

2. Data Management and Monitoring

All employees of DiamondSkin Systems are informed of the company's security policies. DiamondSkin Systems’ new hires are briefed on security and privacy issues and the security policies are also covered in the employee manual. DiamondSkin Systems departments review security measures at regular department meetings.

Security and privacy threats, operational and technical vulnerabilities have been assessed and countermeasures have been taken to reduce these vulnerabilities. New threats are consistently evaluated and measures are taken to prevent them from occurring at DiamondSkin Systems. In addition, a security firewall screens access events and non-valid attempts are denied and logged. More stringent countermeasures are being implemented by DiamondSkin Systems’ security administrator on a continuous basis.

G. LINKING

DiamondSkin Systems may offer links to other Web sites. Please be aware that DiamondSkin Systems is not responsible for the privacy practices of such linked sites, including sites of our partners. We encourage our Customers to be aware of this when they leave DiamondSkin Systems.com and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by DiamondSkin Systems.

I. CHILDREN

DiamondSkin Systems does not sell products for purchase by children. We may sell children's products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use DiamondSkin Systems only with involvement of a parent or guardian.

J. CHOICE/OPT OUT

DiamondSkin Systems gives Customers the ability to opt-out of receiving any further communications from DiamondSkin Systems by replying to Unsubscribe in the subject line via e-mail at support@diamondskin.com. The Customer’s contact information will be then deleted from our database and no further e-mails will be sent to this Customer.

K. ACCESSING AND CHANGING INFORMATION

To assure that the information collected is accurate and up-to-date, DiamondSkin Systems allows Customers to edit, update, and/or remove their information submitted to the DiamondSkin Systems’ Web site. Customers may e-mail DiamondSkin Systems at support@diamondskin.com or call Customer Services at 1-866-766-0639

Those who have their contact information listed on the site as a DiamondSkin operator can have their contact information removed from the site by e-mailing support@diamondskin.com or call Customer Services at 1-866-766-0639 during regular business hours in order to make edits to or have their information deleted. We will respond to your access request within 1-2 business days.

L. NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES

DiamondSkin Systems reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Statement at any time. If we plan to make significant changes to any of our privacy policies or practices with respect to how we use personally identifiable information, we will post those changes to this Web site, and/or notify you by e-mail, 30 days before they take effect. DiamondSkin Systems will post those changes on our Web site so our Customers are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
